A big thank you to the manager Gustavo Aguirre of the wonderful hotel www.elameyal.com for 7 wonderful nights of accommodation from November 3rd to November 9th, 2014, as well as all my meals! And the wonderful shared conversations about education and Recycling! And I so loved having a whole suite to myself with the
possibility of cooking!
Thank you, Jason Revuelta, for 5 nights of accommodation, from October 29th to November 2, in your spacious apartment in Cabo San Lucas! And it was so much fun going diving with you! Especially since it was your certification dive!
Thank you so much, Gerardo Martinez, for picking me up at the Cabo San Lucas Airport and accommodating me for my first two nights on this year’s swim expedition! And thank you so much for introducing me to your friend and colleague Jason Revuelta, who became my very kind second host!
A very big thank you from the bottom of my heart to Dr. Joaquin Beltran Quibrera, who for the third year in a row has allowed me an unlimited stay at his lovely little house in Fidepaz, La Paz, Baja California Sur, which is enormously helpful given that my swims come in stops and gos. This season, I first arrived here on November 22nd, 2014, and I’m finally leaving on January 9th, 2015. It is just so wonderful to be able to come and go as I please, doing different sectors of the swim and then coming back here and being able to teach so many classes in La Paz Mexico! Having the refuge of a little house all to myself that even includes the use of an outdoor swimming pool is most appreciated indeed!

I got to stay in my very favorite cabin! I also appreciate your willingness to accept a commemorative plaque in honor of my son Silvan Skye Valeska Herberger. I received the news of the tragedy while staying in cabin number 7 on January 10th, 2012. So I have a very special attachment to all your staff who treated me so very kindly on that very worst day of my life. I will never forget you.
