Donors 2018 – 19

Thank you once again so much to Lic. Joaquín Beltrán, who for the 7th winter in a row has loaned me the use of his little one-bedroom house in Fidepaz, on Defines Road.

This time I was there from November 13th, 2017, to January 10th 2018.

Thank you so much to the Mexican Navy for supporting me for a full 14 days sum total with the accompaniment of their search and rescue boats for my swims on the Caribbean side of Mexico. With their assistance, I was able to swim around the island of Cozumel in 8 days, around the island Isla Mujeres in 4 days, and a crossing swim from Cozumel to Puerto Morelos, and Isla Mujeres to Cancun.

Thank you so much to Candy Uch for hosting me for a full month in her lovely home on Cozumel!

A big thanks to the Hotel Blue Angel, that hosted me for 7 nights including meals, and allowing me continued use for practice swims from their dock! They also hosted two press conferences for me.

Many thanks to the hotel Sueño Maya, that hosted me  for a full seven nights on the island Isla Mujeres!

Thanks to APIQROO for coordinating my stay on Isla Mujeres and arranging for all of my meals there.

Alicia Ricalde Magaña, their CEO and former mayor of Isla Mujeres, also provided me with funding for my continued stay on Cozumel.

Cristina Peláez Sánchez provided  continued friendship from when we met in 2015,when I taught at her school as I did this time, and physically brought me to the Marines to look for support there.

I will be eternally grateful for that.

She also hosted me for three nights.

She arranged for my stay with her teaching colleague Candy Uch.

Thank you to Christopher Gonzalez for allowing me the use of his home for 18 days on Cozumel, from February 22 to March 11 !

He was the director of national parks in Cozumel and organized the 2015 swim as a promotion of CONANP.

Now he has accepted a position as director of national parks of three coastal States, and invited me to the use of his empty home on Cozumel!

Thank you to the restaurant Casa Mission for hosting all of my meals on Cozumel after my return from Isla Mujeres!

Thank you to Paula for allowing me the use of her bicycle for two weeks on Cozumel, while I lived with her nearby friend Candy Uch!

Thank you to Pato Jose from Delfines Cozumel for free rental of a very comfortable bicycle for 7 days!
